Clifford Buck Construction Company continues to be a major force in the Construction Industry throughout Western Michigan.

Our Company has recently completed the following projects:

Muskegon Area Transit System – Downtown Transit Center

This project is one of many other projects that Clifford Buck Construction have completed in Downtown Muskegon. This unique design incorporated a brick veneer, metal panels, aluminum storefront system and some stone accents.The Downtown Transit Center included space for ticket sales for MATS buses and Greyhound buses. New waiting area, men’s and women’s toilet rooms, customer service area and mechanical and electrical space.

The site was designed to handle the flow of multiple buses including angled parking and drop-off spaces. There is also additional car parking for staff and general public use. This 5,554 square foot addition and renovation project gives the Western Michigan area a modern, centrally located facility able to meet the public need with the recent expanded reach to the North and East. This project was completed in August 2015.

Arlington Estates – Club House & Mail Center

The new 2,240 square foot Sales Office and Clubhouse is located on the Arlington Woods campus. The Sales Office and Clubhouse includes new offices, salesroom, lobby, main office, kitchenette, men’s and women’s toilet rooms and community room. The community room features a cultured stone fireplace with rough sawn timber lintel, mantel and inset television. The exterior features two separate entrances that are under covered canopies with cultured stone columns. This project was completed in April 2016.

Comerica Bank – Norton Banking Center

The new 7,000 square foot banking center was constructed in the existing Comerica Bank parking lot. This project had a very aggressive schedule. Clifford Buck Construction broke ground on the new banking center in June of 2015 and was completed in December of 2015.

The new Norton banking center is divided into two separate banking divisions. The banking division incorporates 3,715 square feet including teller lines, safe deposit boxes, service area, manager’s office, vault and video teller area. The business center division that covers 3,273 square feet includes offices, conference room, work room and break room.

Gerber Federal Credit Union – Newaygo Branch

This 2,816 square foot building was built on M-37 for the convenience and availability to the local customers in Newaygo, Michigan. This project was completed in October 2015.

Muskegon Area Intermediate School District – Veterinary Barn

The new Veterinary Barn is located on the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District’s Career Tech Center Campus. The new 1,880 square foot facility includes 1,134 square feet of unheated space and 746 square feet of heated space. Constructed with wood framing and red metal siding, the exterior actually does give it that “barn” appearance. The heated space of the barn has an elaborate exhaust system to properly ventilate any and all animal odors. Both the heated and unheated sides have new trench drains that were cast in the new concrete floors to allow a thorough wash down of the floors. This project was completed in April of 2015.

The following listed projects are currently in process:

Spring Lake Fire Station No. 1

Located on the corner of M-104 and North Fruitport Road, the new Spring Lake Fires Station No. 1 will most definitely catch your eye. The new 14,237 square foot LEED Certified facility includes an apparatus bay to hold six fire trucks, decontamination room, alarm dispatch, exercise, showers, dorm rooms, kitchen/dayroom, fire prevention & inspectors, conference room and office.

Also included in this new facility is 1,543 square feet for the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. This space includes offices for the Sergeant, Detective, interview room, reception and open office area.

Western Michigan Sheet Metal JATC

This new building located on Dangl Road in Fruitport has a July 2016 completion date.

Emergency Services

With their current growth and additional space requirements, Emergency Services decided it was time to look at a new facility. The new 30,000 square foot facility is located in the Don Aley Industrial Park in Muskegon Township.

The new pre-engineered metal building is divided into three separate areas, the rebuild area, service area and body shop. The new 30,000 square foot facility also includes 1,365 square feet for parts and storage and 2,100 square feet of general office space, toilet rooms, conference room and breakroom.
