This 30,000 Square foot addition to relocate Hackley Hospital’s Emergency Department was completed several months ahead of schedule, saving Hackley Hospital nearly 200,000 through budgeting and cost control efforts.
The new Emergency Department was constructed just North of the existing Emergency Department, allowing the existing Emergency Department to remain fully operational. The final phase of the project was completing a long corridor to connect the new facility to the existing hospital.
The state-of-the-art facility included two new trauma rooms, a new ambulance entrance, new heliport, 24 new emergency rooms, a new x-ray facility with CAT Scan Equipment, and a new center core nurse station.
